Cheaper Car Insurance for Women

Why Women Should Pay Less For Insurance

Insurance

Last  year saw the end to cheaper insurance for woman, I personally cannot believe this has happened, firstly woman use cars  in different ways and when we have accidents the damage and repair bill is so much smaller, we may get into more scrapes   scuffs, and dings. Overall the repair bill will be less, and the time off road will be shorter.

Although there is a lovely feeling driving a courtesy car, unless it has an annoying logo advertising the company who provided the courtesy car.  Once you get a courtesy car if you are anything like me, you will do nothing to chase the repairing of your car afterall if you are entitled to lets say (2 weeks use of a courtesy car) why not enjoy it, it will no doubt be reflected in your premium next time your renewal.  Do read the small print there are some restrictions that will come with this courtesy car.

Another reason why women's insurance should be cheaper is that often they are the ones with the car seats and have more driving around of children, the school run, varous clubs, parties visiting friends and relatives.  For some Women owning a car is not optional, poor transport connection late shifts meaning that journey home is dangerous and treacherous in a way that a Man may not experience.  I have known friends who have been given a little run- around to help them transport their children around, then when it came to the insurance just couldn’t afford to purchase the insurance.  Remember no insurance makes your TAX and  MOT Nil and Void and a car with no TAX disc cannot be kept on the road or driven (unless you are driving it to an MOT station).

I feel this increase for car insurance for women needs to be reversed. I understand that it relates to equal rights, these equal rights should take into consideration that the term 'Boy Racer' relates to Men not Women. Women and Men have a different style of driving, not necessary one better than the other just different. One results in huge repair bills and the other not so huge.
